sorry out of topic a bit ...

try this ... http://www.shopjebo.com/63/aquarium_coo ... etail.aspx. (got it in SLS at a very good price)

But mine is double the size (4 fans all together). As what Steven said, it very much depends on the room temperature and also the size of the tank vs fan size. I overcrowded my tank with this 4 pieces fan and it took up almost 40% of my tank place.

But i can steadily said it will lower down the temp to 3 degree. I'm assuming that because with the lighting on (55w), the tank temp will reach 25 degrees compare to the normal 28 degrees. I wonder if i on it 24 hours ... will it get to 24degrees. Have yet to try, but will do it over the weekend.

Anyway, back to the question asked earlier. The reason why adding 2 fans will not make mush difference is because of the temperature of the room that the tank is in. If the room is generally hot, then the water temperature will go down very slightly. The opposite happens if your room is generally very cool. In which case, one fan may do the trick. Very seldom can we manage to lower the temp by more than 2 degrees using fan. Perhaps you'd see more of a drop when it's raining at night.

Thanks to throw me some light :)

My temperature will never go less than 27... but so far 7 out of 8 shrimps died (4 RCS + 4 Yamato).

Fishes (Tetra, Cory, Barb) are doing fine....

I will wait after CNY then only add back some shrimps...

Yeah, usually that's about the lowest it can go due to our surrounding environment.
