My linked CRS tank? No changes and nothing to show... Maybe what I can show is some CRS picture taken recently, when I have some free time :mrgreen:

Now not many CRS in there since last year end disaster. Only few hundreds left.

ps: We no fool among penangi. I also from Penang lar.

oh....i didnt know that smaller tank needs more care....im also quite a newbie when it comes to CRS...i kept mine in a 5.5g for about 5months with about 1 or 2 deaths.....until my dog knocks over the DIY co2 and wiped out the whole CRS/CBS population....lol...i do about 40-50%water changes weekly and the temp is around 25-27.....thats y gotta get somemore CRS/CBS from ppyeoh :D

The key to keep CRS is simple:

1. Stable tank &
2. Cool water temperature

Any one of you experience that the white color of CRS get faded after 1 month of keeping? :cry:

what you mean by faded? you mean the white just turned transparent? or the white become not so obvius

Yup, some of the white no obvius and some turn into transparent. Is this normal??They was so nice when i bought them.

im not sure about the whole thing change to transparent...but the one that white not so ncie le is maybe becoz when u buy is still not mature yet....so as it get older,the colour will change abit...shud be gua :D u nid ask sifu le XD

something to do with ur water parameters...check ur ph,gh,kh value...it might as well affect the colour of the crs
